This project is for comprehensive commissioning services for the AHU replacement of the Anthropology and Art Practice Building at UC Berkeley.
The building systems identified to be commissioned as part of this project include:
- Air Handling Unit
- Outdoor Condensing Unit
- Instrumentation & Control System
The building is the main facility for the Anthropology and Art Practice Building. The project included modernization for systems serving the teaching studios, and many faculty offices. The building includes 15,000 square feet of studio space.
On the ground floor are the Sculpture Studios, complete with wood shop, metal shop, a spacious outdoor sculpture yard, and laser cutting facilities.
On the second floor are the Printmaking Studios as well as all Digital Media Labs (Photography, Video, Sound, New Media, and VR).
On the third floor are the Drawing and Painting Studios. All studios have large windows, high ceilings, ample light, and a northern exposure.
